The Gospel
What is the Gospel?
The Gospel is the good news about Jesus Christ, God's Son, who came to earth to save humanity from sin and its consequences. It's a message of love, forgiveness, and redemption.
God's Love for Humanity
God loves us so much that He sent His only Son, Jesus, to die for our sins.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)
Our Probelm: Sin
We've all sinned and fallen short of God's perfect standard. Sin seperates us from God and leads to eternal consequences.
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)
God's Solution: Jesus
Jesus Christ, God's Son, came to earth, lived a sinless life, and died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins.
"He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him." (Isaiah 53:5)
The Power of the Resurrection
Jesus was raised from the dead on the third day, demonstrating His power over sin and death.
"But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him." (Acts 2:24)
